Very, very good food and a very nice / wide selection of dishes (vegan, vegetarian, meat), the beer garden is definitely very nice in the summer, but the restaurant could do with a bit of love (alternatively or not ;-))

Very, very good inn, in addition to classic Franconian and German home-style cooking, Asian and generally international cuisine. Very high quality ingredients and excellent preparation lead to very tasty dishes. The service is very nice and competent, but on busy days you have to be prepared for long waiting times.

Even if the restaurant needs improvement from the outside, a visit is highly recommended! There were seven of us on site and we were still allowed to order something to eat without a reservation and late at noon. Thank you again for this. The choice of food is plentiful and you have to look at the menu two or three times 😀 The food was plentiful and very good! The service was very nice! Can only recommend this location.

Simply cool. The location, the service and especially the food. We have been there twice. Everything is freshly cooked, the meat is organic and half of the dishes are tasty vegetarian creations, far beyond Kässpätzle and Co. The icing on the cake was the ice cream creations ("unfortunately" only one per day, freshly made for it ): Chocolate and pepper parfait (perfect after the breaded cutlet - the pepper does not dominate, but enters into a harmonious liaison with the chocolate and is remembered with a refreshing, slight tingling sensation in the mouth. No sharpness perceptible, this requires sensitivity when dosing and experience with spices. The handle of the rare bourbon pepper was a direct hit!). The Thai basil / white chocolate parfait was also delicious. Maybe you should open an ice cream parlor :-) The only negative is the fact that the restaurant is no longer an insider tip. A reservation is highly recommended. Incidentally, what is very pleasant at the moment is that strict attention is paid to compliance with the corona rules. Wait at the entrance, have space allocated, "mask" on, also in the beer garden, and enjoy relaxed.

Service didn't just leave us hanging ... .... other guests were also unfriendly rejected because they had not made reservations. Came in at 5pm after a bike ride and just wanted to have a beer. The beer garden was empty except for two tables. The waitress asked us if we had reserved. When we said no, we were greeted with a short "looks bad!" dumped. Some of the corona crisis doesn't seem to be that bad. You don't treat people with such arrogance. There are three stars because the beer garden, despite being neglected, looks cozy.

The best inn in Franconia. Especially for vegans. Hammer.

very delicious food and timely inn - you can also spend the night here - historic building lovingly decorated. Reserve or call in advance is recommended as it is not always open.

Super delicious food! Local, organic and also delicious vegetarian dishes. Great solution in Corona times with take away food! I hope the beer garden can be opened soon, it is also very nice ;-)

Fun with new friends in festive place.

It is a nice and cozy place.

We went there for the first time today due to the exceptional rating and caught pizza day (Tuesday). The service was great, the drinks were there quickly and the food was also ordered promptly. Unfortunately, we then waited well over an hour for our pizza. Yes it was really full, but it's still too long! Tastes good, but not a real Italian pizza, but rather a tasty German interpretation of it. The large salad with it was good, but nothing fancy either and the ingredients were a bit narrow. The beer offered is a bit bland in taste (have tried wheat, Helles and Keller) but ok. All in all good, but we couldn't find the 4.8 *. For us a maximum of solid 4 *.
